Think. Write. Then reveal.

Open the 23B-C1 student paper, v0.3. Use a pencil. This Studio has no answer box and nothing to submit.

  1. See the reversal · front, 1–2. Use the optional return to problem 1. For problem 2, say what you notice about 2 and 5. Click Show both multiplications, then Watch the points move.
  2. Find the boundary · front, 3. Follow the equation and inequality together. Reveal the operation, boundary, and ray. Predict which of 3, 4, and 5 work before showing the checks.
  3. Solve together · back, 4–5. Select the exact paper problem. Attempt the next line on paper, then reveal it. Writing the variable first preserves the same relationship.
  4. Paper practice · back, 6–9. Show the operation on both sides, write the solution, and complete the paper graph. Then reveal the steps to check your work. Keep corrections visible.

Paper pause covers the worked solutions with the current task. Back hides the most recent step. Selecting another problem hides its answer.

Motion controls animation speed only. Pause motion freezes moving graphics; you can still reveal the next complete step. Replay restarts the current animation. No animation shows the same mathematics immediately. Steps never advance automatically.

Full screen enlarges the Studio when the browser allows it. If unavailable, use the browser’s own full-screen control. Press Escape to leave full screen or close a dialog.

ALEKS topic: Multiplicative property of inequality with integers.

Keyboard: Tab between controls; Enter or Space activates a button. Away from controls, ← and → move between steps, and R replays.

The graphs and value checks help explain this lesson. They do not add a new writing requirement to every ALEKS or ELO problem.

Screen down. Pencil moving.
