Start here

Think on paper. Reveal one step.

  1. Have Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 ready. The label above each lesson tells you exactly where to look.
  2. Read the “Your next action” prompt. Say or write your response. Nothing needs to be typed unless a box specifically asks for a number.
  3. Click the green button once. It reveals the next step immediately. The lesson never advances by itself.
  4. Explain the picture. Identify the center, the distance, and which positions belong. On the final step, use “Check and explain” to verify a value.

Sections: Distance → Move the center → Exactly or within → Mai: acceptable → Mai: outside. The first section includes the six Sheet 1 practice items; the last includes the strip problem.

Paper pause covers the lesson while you work. Closing it returns to the same step. Back revisits a step. Replay emphasis repeats a visual cue without changing the answer. No animation keeps all mathematics visible.

Use Tab to reach buttons and Enter or Space to activate them. Arrow keys adjust a focused slider. Full screen depends on your browser. There is no timer, score, or required ALEKS work in this Day 1 studio.

Your paper holds the reasoning.
